About hydroseeding
Grass establishment, explained simply
Hydroseeding starts with a mix of grass seed, water, mulch and fertiliser. We blend it in our tank, then spray it evenly over prepared soil.
The mulch holds moisture around the seed while it settles and begins to grow. This helps produce consistent coverage without laying rolls of turf by hand.
It works well on home lawns, civil sites, broad open areas and slopes. For most jobs, we can cover hundreds or thousands of square metres efficiently and select seed to suit the site.
Regular watering is important while the new grass establishes. Under suitable North Queensland conditions, germination can begin within 7–14 days.
